Each Miguel Caballero USA product provides a personal protection solution specific to the wearer; however, no bulletproof option on the market can safeguard against all types of threats. Miguel Caballero USA bulletproof clothing is designed to reduce or prevent injuries from particular threats.

Bulletproof designs do not protect against spikes, picks, knives or other sharp objects unless otherwise noted.

The wearer need understand that ballistic panels only offer protection to covered areas, specifically the vital organs. In any event, the wearer should assume proper self-protection measures when confronting a threatening situation.

Ballistic Tests

The National Institute of Justice, an agency of the U.S. Department of Justice, established a set of parameters for testing body armor and determining levels of protection. Miguel Caballero USA products are tested in compliance with or certified under NIJ Standard 0101.04 for bullet-resistant body armor.
